· Assess training needs: Coordinate industry tours for faculty to assess needs and resources at the business site for possible on-the-job training.
· Assess College program: Coordinate college tours for businesses to assess the strength of college programs and faculty capabilities.
· Interface with the Workforce Development Board (WDB): Identify and leverage funding for the training and align with other regional training goals.
· Set training objectives: Work with all partners to identify the objectives for the training program and benefits to all other stakeholders in the region.
· Support faculty: Communication, curriculum, budget, coordination, and logistics. Training can include embedded certifications, such as OSHA.
· Support Dean: Identify funding source (Contract Education, I-Train, WIOA), contract development, serve as an intermediary between the partners.
· Manage and support the job training program from start to finish.
· Support graduation and assist with vetting and job placement for completers.
· Identify and recruit other employers as partners to scale on-going training.
